The St. Regis Atlanta

The past two days I have had the pleasure of in-person meetings with luxury hotels in the Atlanta area. Yesterday I toured The St. Regis in Buckhead and fell in love! For those of you who are looking for a getaway for a couple of days, you must consider this luxury hotel. It is perfect for a romantic stay, a girls’ trip, or a family stay. The rooms are large and starting rooms have either a King bed or two Queen beds and all bathrooms have double vanities. There is a fabulous spa so be sure to schedule some treatments and an amazing pool that is heated year-round with a great outdoor bar and lounging areas. The bars, wine bar and restaurants are simple stunning. Pictured above is the grand entrance, the King bedroom and bathroom, the pool and the gym complete with Peloton bikes.

The photo below is of the butterfly dining room in the Atlas Restaurant. This is a semi-private dining room and totally unique. What a special place to dine!
The next pictures are of the Garden Room which is a relatively new addition to the hotel. We were told that there is a two month waiting list to get a table in this space. It was stunning! Below the Garden Room is the Wine Bar where we had drinks and a custom cocktail called the Texas Rose.
Another fun fact about this boutique hotel is that the art on display throughout the property is the personal collection of the owner and is valued at more than the actual building! It really is like being in a museum. In fact, you can pick up a guide at the concierge desk and take in all the pieces in the collection.

Finally, do not miss the champagne sabering which happens every night at 6pm. This ritual takes place at every St. Regis around the world! The story goes that John Astor who founded the first St Regis in New York City in the early 1900’s started this tradition and it has carried on since then. John Astor perished in the Titanic and is a revered figure in the history of this amazing hotel brand. Check out this video on my Facebook page of the champagne sabering that they did for us.
